I made this pattern almost 20 years ago and it was easy. Just found a whole bunch of extra blocks and went eeiyi! One set was 8" and the other 8 1/2". I think I can cut them down quite easily though. I must have made some strips 1/2" wider. Aargh!

I typed this in and saw the video on it. Have been considering getting this book and it does look really easy. I just typed Eleanor Burns lovers knot video in search and walaaaa!

I say go for it! If you have the time, it won't take long at all to cut it and sew it, then whether you are going to send it out to be quilted or do it yourself.

I got the book to make Lovers Knot quilt and while I want to change one of the materials, that isn't a problem. Once I find the book.... Anyway is 5 weeks enough time to get a double bed quilt completed, or should I look for a quicker pattern? I work full time, but usually can manage some sewing time in the evenings, and all weekend if i try really hard. So, if you have made this patten, what do you think?
Love the date they picked: 9-10-11! They'll never forget it!

Today is THE day! I am embarking on the first part of the mission....find fabric that speaks to me!!!! Wish me luck...I am a mess when it comes to choosing fabrics, especially when I want it to be "just right" for this couples wedding quilt.

E Burns is still on TV. She is on RFD TV on Thursdays. I am a little late looking at this portion of QB so someone may have already mentioned this to you. If so I'm sorry to repeat.
