I'm just glad you had the courage to ask her for the quilt. What is it the Bible says about "casting your pearls before swine"?

I am glad you have the happy ending your beautiful quilt deserves. Good for you for having the oomph to confront the "rude ingrate".

Bet you never thought you would get this many reponses to your topic. Don't worry about making or giving this spoiled rotten brat anything. She would never appreciate it anyway. I would have been honored to recieved your quilt. It was made with love.

Don't bet on it! One day, this spoiled person may appreciate the smallest of gifts.
Life has a way of teaching people about the important things, like friends who would give their time and effort to lighten their day.

Well, I think it is a beautiful baby quilt. You are right. It is where it was meant to be. Someone to really love it.

I'm glad you didn't get the little ingrate another gift! Maybe when she gets older she'll one day realize her big goof. If not, the quilt is in a home of Love and appreciation. And the snot can keep on being a snot! If only this new generation realizes the magic and time and love that goes into making something "homemade"...Your quilt os lovely and know my children would have loved having such a gift, and still love homemade gifts rather than bought! Guess I musy have trained them right...thank goodness! Now they put in "requests" ha,ha...if they see a certain quilt they like!
