Well, equilter.com carries several baseball fabrics. There are ton's of on-line stores, I would maybe try googling "Softball quilting fabrics" or something like that, you may find something. There's probably someone on here that could help you as well.

I googled alot to and had no luck. Joann's has some fabric with just baseballs all over it. Either that or you can applique some softballs (embroidery the red stitchs) onto your design.

    Hi Daph,

Go to e-bay and search for softball fabric. There is some that actually has GIRLS playing softball on it! I'll see if I can send you a link. The Buy It Now price for three yards is $12.99. Hope this helps.

here's a link to a pattern for making a girls sports wall hanging.

you could always just make many of the softball block and combine them into a quilt.

Help! I want to make a quilt using astronauts etc. I live in Florida and have collected all the patches they wore or their flight suits. Also have the newspaper accounts from the first flight, the Columbia (which I acually saw) and more. Spent a family weekend in Daytona Beach many years ago and John Glenn, Alan Shepherd and Gus Grissom were all staying at the same motel with their families. Had the chance to meet them and my kids and theirs swam races in the pool.

I will transfer my pics to fabric (which I've done before). I saw some fabric awhile back with astronauts in their flight gear floating in the sky like a space walk. I have searched the internet shops and googled till I'm blue in the face, but all I can find is comic or childrens' prints. Can anybody help me?

    http://www.bearpawquilting.com/novelty_groups.htm

This site has a lot of novelty prints. Good luck. Softball is hard to find. I've tryed. I did find some ball fabric in pink. I don't remember where I found it. Fabric.com maybe. I have not cut the fabric yet. I'm going to use is for a tote lining for my niece who plays travel ball. The information on the salvage is: Timeless Treasures Fabrics, Inc 2007. Patt# Sport-C2944

    Good luck.
