I noticed it too! But didn't share it with family--they think my quilting is a sickness. I watch tv while I'm working on quilts so I'm not just being a couch potato. We just got back from 3 weeks in Europe and a lot of my pictures are of tile floors at Versailles because they would make interesting quilts!

My family is now doing it too. They will even pause the show, and say "Mom, look, a quilt!".

I recognized the pattern. I made place-mats for my mom a couple of years ago with the pattern.

Anyone else ever have a "you know you sew too much when..." experience?
I recognized that placemat immediately -- your directions on how to make this Around the World placemat (thank you for doing that) a couple years ago was my first plunge.

And yes, glad to know I'm not the only one who homes in on anything quilty, anywhere, anytime [especially including tile floor designs! :o) ].

Great story. My mom and love the blue and white quilt that is on the back of the sofa at the Tack house (Nick's) on the Young and the Restless. We always look for it.I always have my eye out for quilts.
