lol Sorry to make life difficult for you! ;-)

I'm using fabrics I already have, which tend to be bright bold colours, so the choice was taken out of my hands really.
Must admit though, I had planned to use slightly different colours on each block and now I'm not so sure, now I'm thinking I really like these colours and wouldn't mind doing them all the same.

Your colors in the Baltimore Album block, remind me of Pennsylvania dutch colors. They are beautiful

    Thank you guys. :-)

I'm not one for following the rules much, best if I don't know them then I don't stress about breaking them!

ShadowDancer and LisaT, have also done blocks, you could check theirs out. I'm doing mine in brights, and it will be scrappy. Not like the original at all.

I found some fabric a few months ago they had the design in bright pink yellow blue green and a nice purple they're not pastel but not real bold either might work perfect for this. glad I bought 2 yds of each

Oh! I like this in the brights!

I am making this BOM for my mom so I am using very traditional colors and prints, but if I were making it for me, I think I would use colors like yours. They are so pretty and happy!
