Every cat name I tried was taken. I have a rabbit named Chester which for some reason we call Fester. My husband said "try Fester, I bet no one is using that name". Since I thought this board was a little more dignified, I'm using Chester the bunny.

    Carole
(Whoever has Carole out there, that was my 1st choice :o)

My hands turn blue when it's cold because of my scleroderma and my youngest son started calling me Momma Smurf!

I'm lucky to live in paradise - big island of Hawaii and quilting is my favorite hobby.

I have now read all of the posts here, and I need to go to bed! K -- what a great thread!

I used my real name, as I did not know any better -- this was my first enrollment in an online community.

I was named Leslie after my maternal grandfather -- Leslie Charles Drake.

Watson was my Yorkie who we had to put down because of cancer. We were together all the time, hence 'watson's mom'. The Yorkie in my avatar now is 'Suzie'.

I've read all these posts & loved 'em. Really interesting stories. We are all unique & our stories show that.
My initials are BB. Double B shortened. I was born in 1961. So dublb61 is the start of my e-mail address. I thought I'd just use dublb here.

I have enjoyed reading everyone's stories.

Mine is "Hugg a bug"....as in a reminder to Hug your precious babies and children and to always let them know that they are loved.

Remember the fairy tale "Princess and the Pea" and the delicate, true princess who couldn't sleep because of her sensitivity to the tiny pea under twenty mattresses? Well, she was evidently my many-greats grandmother, and that gene gets passed on undiluted! My mother was a princess, as was her mother, and I, Susan, am also; ergo, Suzanprincess. (One of my three brothers has it too, but natually resists being called princess; my oldest brother does not have the trait at all but still passed it on to two grandsons, and now karma is making him rue having made fun of me! )

My avatar is from the Mutts cartoon, and reflects the story.
