I am in the process of piecing a New York Beauty and I have the paper piecing done, but I am having trouble sewing the curves to put it all together, does anyone have a suggestion?
    Thank You
    Jo

What MissSandra says. My original mistake was to over pin. You should only need the three pins unless it is a larger block. With a larger block, you might want to also pin at the "quarter" marks. Use something to ease the edges of the fabric together and stitch slowly.

Always put the convex piece on top of the concave piece. (If you have trouble remembering which is which, the convex piece is the big-chested girl, and the concave piece is... well... you know.)

You might want to cut some pieces out of scraps and practice sewing them first, so you can increase your skill level. I found that after about 3 or 4 blocks I got the hang of it.

When I took the paper piecing class (my avatar quilt) they taught us to use a glue stick to hold the pieces together on the new york beauty blocks.

OMG, your quilt is Beautiful! That is what I want to accomplish. I will give the glue stick a try.
    Thank you

I tried it and it worked, I can see where it will take a little time to make it perfect. I probably picked the wrong size block, they are 5" blocks, so the paper piecing is pretty small.
    Thank you for your help.
