Hi! Your life sounds much like mine! I retired 5 years ago and have been busy, busy ever since! I sew, quilt, repair, stay on the computer and the quilting board. Husband died 26 years ago and I am also 75, some health issues but keep going anyway!

My Mom is 102 and I am 78. Sewing and taking care of my dog is my main enjoyment along with this website. Used the computer for the last 26 years and am going to get the EQ7 as soon as I finish this letter.. Help with the club house socials in our complex in Beautiful Sequim Wa. Love this board. Bev.

Does your mom sew and use the computer also?? Staying busy I think is the name of this game of living longer and doing many of the new things we are enjoying in our life time.

Mom would if she could see because of macular D. She has a magnifier monitor screen and gets mail through a server but can't send. That is a wonderful thing for the blind, they can feel in touch that way.She still goes for walks. A very active lady all her life. She made me doll cloths for Shirley Temple and Diana Derben. The whole family goes on a cruise with her every year. That is a real treat.

I'm 81 1/2, still quilting, and using a computer since before I retire at 63. I've just been able to get back on line today since we lost our enternet tower Monday nite to gale force winds of between 80-90 miles an hr and they got it replace today. I was going into withdrawal with out my access to the enternet. My computer is my conection to my friends, family and what is going on in the outside world. Esther,Okla

That has to be tough with the tower gone down for so long think I saw that one on tv go down? Know what computer withdrawals are so funny you said that. Our connections to others out there have gotten so important right?
