Gosh, what did you do in your spare time? You make me tired just reading all you did today.
Oh, my word, no kidding! Next time the board goes down, come to my house, please!! ;)

Today I got my 9-year-old going on sewing together her first quilt blocks for her very first quilt- until she shooed me away because she wanted to do it by herself, that is! (I'm very proud, she's doing great! :) ) And the usual- taking care of my babies, cleaning, errands, etc. :)

I was frantic! The QB is my ONLY connection to the world (of quilting). I feel lost without it and everyone's great ideas, tips and advice. I'm lonely out here in the stinkin' hot desert.

I got a lap quilt layered and basted, picked up DGS from football practice, made dinner, and cleaned up the kitchen.

As soon as I saw the site was down I Googled it and found a site they said yes, it is down. I just stayed off until tonight hoping it would be back up. It Is!!!! Yeah! I cut and sewed 8 placemats and had a nap. I did not do house work although I did straighten my stash a bit. Thankyou TaliaRose for working to get us up and running again!

I finished my book I was reading; did some laundry and got it put away; scrubbed the bathroom; watched my granddaughter for a while and we went swimming; got some stuff together to post for sale;found a couple of things for PIFs; took 2 shirts apart for buttons and quilt scraps; and went for a motorcycle ride.

After about two hours of searching for "stuff" (all quilting related!) I gave up and got DH to take me shopping at a new Ross store. I mailed a magazine to a Board member, stopped at a Stamp and Coin store to get more glassine hinges for stamps, and came home - and found the Board back up - and here I am! Should have taken the time to clean the house, but still not feeling up to par to tackle that after my hospital "vacation", and Ross was calling to me - so I went!
