    I am so clutzy I HAVE to wear shoes. Goodness only knows what I might do to my feet without them...and believe me, I know myself well enough to know I'm not taking any chances!

    Semi-tidy should suffice. Keep all sharps above hip level and you should be fine. I hope your pain subsides quickly.

    I vote for shoes! As many times as I have dropped a kitchen knife through my foot, I figure I am just on borrowed time until I lose a toe to a rotary cutter or something!! Always. Shoes.

    Hi to all
    I have to share what happened to me yesterday it must be the day of the feet in the sewing room. I dropper my 24 in ruller on my toe and it cut, and man is it sore. He he he he Maybe I should have steal toed boots on when I sew. lol

    I do not allow anyone in my sewing room without some type of foot protection - shoes, tennies, sandals, flip flops. There are just too many ways to hurt your feet when barefoot. And I cannot stand and cut fabric, nor press fabric/seams/blocks when barefoot. I need the support of something on my feet.
