    I am going to draw some designs on press and seal and put it over a portion of my quilt and see how that looks. Thanks for the suggestions keep them coming

    I agree -- don't want to take away from the quilt top with overdoing the quilting -- SID sounds good to me.

    Nice quilt - how about quilting in the middle across the brown squares, then ITD on the blue and across, making a criss-cross grid?

    I am not one for dense quilting. I love the looks of the blocks and think SID would keep their integrity.

    Do a FM wavy line through the tan chain, then do it again the opposite direction so you end up with a kind of eye shaped chain running through the chain. Then either outline quilt the blue stars, or do a free motion pattern of pumpkin seeds intersecting in the middle blue square to highlight the blue stars. I always find a quilt with so many square edges is prettier when quilted with some curves. Have fun!
