I just finished two each of these two wall hangings. One for a gift or for us, and one to donate to my church's Lord's Acre sale in October. The first one is called Straddling Snowboy.( I can't put my handfs on the envelope for this one to come up with a company. The second is North Star Santa by Saginaw Street Quilt Company. Warning on the North Star Santa- use a heavy weight white fabric or the ones underneath show through. The next one I will be making is from the Patrick Lose book called A Patrick Lose Christmas. Lots of cute ideas in that one.

I'm attempting table runners for the first time this year. I've been slowly collecting holiday prints and can't wait to get started! Haven't picked out the pattern yet, though...

This is an idea I made last year to use as place cards at a dinner I had for my employees. All were slightly different and everyone seemed to enjoy them. I wrapped large candy bars in white butcher paper. Made a tube for the hat, bunched it up at the top and tied it, measured around the candy bar for the scarf, tied it and fringed it. I used fleece because there were no edges to finish and it stretches so measuring wasn't that important.

I made the top to a table runner yesterday afternoon. It didn't take very long. I'm making these, potholders and cloth ornaments to hang, Christmas stockings are a good stash buster project everyone loves, bookmarks, key chain fobs, and I'm also making some fabric trivets to go with the runners.

I made some very pretty tassel angels last year that would go well as gift wrap embellishments, ornaments for tree or whatever. All it requires is a ready made tassel, some of the gold wedding rings for halo, a pretty button to hold & some gold ribbon for arms that is hot glued around neck. I used the round paper doilies for wings folded in half they were just right. Very pretty, quick to do and everyone loved them!
