Oh my, I don't know...love them both! Perhaps you could have both....straight around the star, black, and then squiggly? And, perhaps I am a total goof too! lol :lol:

I don't know how you are going to decide...but I like the first one....one just two sides. Makes it different and great at the same time. What a beautiful quilt...no matter how you border it.

I love the simple straight border. It enhances the focal point and doesn't fight with it, so to speak. I love the colors. Black and hues of blue are always striking.
