We have all had those moments, and sometimes we have to become a little more creative. Have you thought about taking those blocks to a local Quilt shop for a little outside look at it. You could be your to close to it and they will give you a fresh look and some help

I like the light. I often feel that way as I'm putting a project together, but when it's quilted - I usually love it!

My eye picked out the larger blocks of the dark colors and the green. Don't know if you can rearrange them out more evenly or not, maybe that would help some. Lay it somewhere where you can leave it, out of sight, and go visit every once in a while. That helps me. I take pics of them as I go along so i have records of the layouts to reference back to.

I have several - but I do like the second top better.

If you don't like it now, putting a few more days of worry and stitching into it won't improve your opinion. Make some major changes. It is your opinion that counts, not ours. It isn't our quilt.

I like the original and I like the quilt. They are very pretty colours.

The colors are great. I like both ways but I like where you added the maroon best.

So sorry you don't like it, but you are the one that must be happy! Even if you are not happy, when you can bring yourself to do it, finish the project, and give it to someone who will be delighted. It amazes me how people's tastes can be so different.

I think it looks good. However, maybe it is the background that is setting your bells off. Personally, I would try and use a darker green. If not, then I like the light green the best.

Somewhere along the line, EVERY quilt I have ever made has ticked me off at one point or another....either the fabrics aren't "quite right" or the pattern is "just a little off"...or something! But you know what? Somehow, it all comes together in the end! So don't lose heart...you will be amazed at how much more "likeable" it becomes the closer you are to completing it!
And by the way, I LOVE the second one! Please let us see pictures when you finish!
