As a cancer survior myself I want to say thank you to all that donate in anyway you can but especially to the ones who give your hair for wigs. You don't relize how much your hair means to you until you lose all of it from treatments. I can say from my experience the natural hair wigs made me feel much better and no one was the wiser that it was a wig.
Thank you to all you angels who care about others.

Thank you from a cancer survivor. My great nieces little 3 1/2 year old has cancer and she and her daddy went together to get their heads shaved together so the loss of her hair wouldn't be so tramatic. She told everyone look my hair is like my daddy's. She is a daddy's girl and loved going with him to get a matching hair cut.
The locks of love is a great program.
There is also a Group through the American Cancer Society, called "Look Good Fill Better" for women and they have free wigs for adults. Any cancer paitent out there or with a loved one be sure to ask them where you get your treatments about free wigs etc as they know what there is out there to help you.

my mom is a three time cancer survivor, I saw her go through losing her hair...she said she was fine losing her hair but couldn't imagine seeing a child going through it.

What a nice thing to do. I tried to do the same but since I had hair color in they said they couldn't accept it. Love your new haircut (tired or not you look great) and hope your sick child is feeling better now.
