You certainly have a good chance at winning. You should definitely enter it!

Just wanted to say that I love your quilt. I don't know much about local fairs.... but I know your quilt is one I would love to see in person at a local fair given the chance!

it is beautiful---and take it from someone who enters quilts in the fair every year---GO FOR IT!!!
i bet it wins a ribbon of some sort!
the fair is a great place to enter your first time entering a quilt- they tend to give out lots of ribbons- they ooohhhh and ahhhh over the quilts...love them all- and yours is WONDERFUL!
i completed the embroideries for that quilt 2 years ago---all in blues- the strips are still in a box...geesh- i need to put that quilt together :)
    ENTER THE QUILT!!!

Enter it, if it doesn't win pls don't feel rejected cause those of us on the board here know a beautiful quilt when we see one and this certainly qualifies! If it does win - you deserved it!

You should enter but not to win. Just enter so you can share your work. Winning would be a bonus.

My Aunt did this quilt and entered it into the County Fair (in MN) and received Grand Champion on it a few years ago. Yours looks just as good as hers does so I would not worry so much about the negative feed back. I think you will only get possitive feed back about it. It looks wonderful!!

Forgot to add that you should enter it in the fair for the pure joy of sharing your wonderful work. Remember the awards given are not only based on workmanship., but a little bit of personal taste comes into play too. So if you win something "yippee", if not, it just might not be what that particular judge likes.

Thank you all for your wonderfull words of wisdom. The quilt is not perfect...some points don't match, if you look closely, you can tell where I strayed from the pattern while fmq, and there are a few small puckers in the back. Despite all of the above mentioned things, I must admitt that I am really proud of this one. As a few of you have mentioned, I am already a winner and thats what counts! So yes I will enter it in the fair with confidence, and see what happens.
