I am in Michigan and she is in San Antonio....

How about TEACHING her to quilt, then having her participate in a "kids quilt" workshop, where kids - boys and girls - make quilts for children who need them for other victims - loss of homes, abuse/domestic violence victims, etc.?

I saw your post the other day, got interrupted and didn't get back to it until today. From strips and pondering to already pieced. In a word "WOW"! Absolutely inspiring and gorgeous! She will treasure your quilt for the rest of her life. Now to get to the persons causing her such anguish . . . . I wish they knew how many people were talking about THEM, shame on them!

I love it the way you have it. I would add a pink as #13 to match the first one just to balance it. It will be lovely.

Pretty colors --this should make a great quilt for her. That certainly says a lot about you! Anxious to see your quilt!

The quilt will be beautiful. I suggest you pray over it as you make it. pray for her and the one who's bulling her.
    Watch what God will do.
