That would be neat! You could fit a cookie on mine, but it would have to be a small one. :? Okay, my leaves came out to be 5" tall and 5 1/2" wide. A good rule of thumb is that they will be just a wee bit smaller than the print out, whatever size you make that.

you gave the margins, i should of paid attention..when i made it into a pdf file, the leaf is not on one page alone. i have to work on it later,to get it fixed, for printing out.
i am so pdf and "word" challenged! for that matter,"paint" is not a strong point for me either!

Off to quilting for the morning! see ya all later! :-D

    Hi Y'all,
I'm late in responding to this request, but I have
now put the corrections in the Word format. The
entire document is now 10 pages instead of the
original 8, but the pictures are larger. I hope I
inserted it in the right place. Lara, if I put it
in the wrong place, let me know. I put the
corrections in after step 5. I can change it if
it needs to be after a different step. For anyone
that only wants to copy it from the corrections step
forward, start copying from page 3 continuing to
page 10. Or you can just copy page 3 and insert it
    in your pattern.
    Have a Blessed Day!

Please look on page 19 for the final version of this downloadable tutorial.

What an awesome idea. We have a Harvest Dinner coming up at the school and this would be a great door prize to win...so I guess I will be making a few sets to donate to the school for door prizes.

    Thanks for the great idea!

A Big Thank you Marcia and Kim for your dowloadable Word and .pdf files! :-)
What a mix up... my apologies! :(
I think that the correction best fits at the beginning of step 7. Where it says "Cut away the excess fabric, leaving a 1/8 inch seam allowance." Could you both then add the change like so?: "Please note: where the v- shaped opening is, it works better to leave a 1/4" seam allowance and snip into the tip of the "V" as illustrated in the picture below. This helps when it comes time to turn that edge under." Then add the doctored picture just above step 7's picture?

Do you think that will work well? And Kim ;) You are not .pdf challenged in my book! Just super busy!

You both are Complete Gems for taking the time like this to help everyone out! Mucho Gracias!

Suzi, book marking the page, the page you want to book mark will have the book mark button on the top of the page on the left hand side, click on it and watch for the page to offer you a save button, click on that and its saved. If you miss it go back to the page or tute you want and start all over, if you do not click on the save button it won't go into your book marks. jigs1354
Don't know if this was answered or not, so if it was, here it is again for the new kids on the block. :)
