Just want to say hello from the beautiful Pacif NW. I just joined this board. I have made about half a dozen quilts so far. I certainly do not consider myself a quilter of any merit. I manage to muddle through. Anyway, I hope to pick up tips and of course new friendships.

Hello from Indiana! There are different layers to quilters so if you cut whole pieces of fabric up into little pieces and then sew it back together, you ARE a quilter!!!!
