Hmmm. I wonder if this was a salesman sample? Cool!

They also have a little Moldacot. I had to look that one up too! Always something new to learn and marvel over.

Try heating the gears with a hair dryer. I've gotten things to free up with a blow dryer and wiggling and moving until they move.

    Good Luck

I had posted about a pink Dressmaker sewing machine that I just feel in love with. I am thinking of purchasing it. Is it easy to find parts for this machine? I have not been able to find information on this specific looking model. I have been told that it comes with a knee bar, no foot pedal. Any information or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hmmmm. I don't know how a knee bar would work on this machine... Maybe you mean knee power control? It would be easy to find replacement parts, but they won't come cheap with shipping costs what they are. It really depends on how much money you want to put into a machine. Count on at least $15 for a replacement cord with shipping, maybe $20.

How pretty! It's a Singer 15-91 clone - made in Japan - it's a great machine. Knee control is easier for me - I think I have more control - it is less tiring - maybe the nerves closest to my brain (ahem) work faster than the ones farther away... Try the knee control before you go changing it out. Check and see if the wires are in good shape before you do much. It looks like it is in good cosmetic condition. A bit of oil on the moving parts and you should be good to go.
