I enjoy looking at the pictures of your work. I only hand quilt as well, and you are quite an inspiration. Thank you for taking the time to share this

You are one amazingly patient woman. I can't work with a thimble either and end up with torn up thumbs from pushing the needle through all the time! Beautiful work you do.

Thanks for showing us your beautiful work. I can't think of a better excuse for sitting by the window watching the birds and butterflies.

If you EVER have a chance to see one of Andrea's quilts in person, take it. The work is amazing. I can only spout superlatives in regards to her quilting. Hm, one stitch at a time - maybe I will give that a try.

Just to mention it...one of my quilts is on display in the World Quilt Show this year. They will be shown at the Pacific International Quilt Festival in Santa Clara, CA, October 13-16. I feel so proud to say that the quilt won a blue ribbon....

I think that all of us here who are in awe of your work are really not *that* surprised.

No surprised at all! Though thrilled for you, of course. :) I wish I wasn't on the other side of the country, or I'd go to see it! Congratulations!

I am completely self-taught. I learned through books, trial and error... and I am still learning and practicing. Every quilt brings a new experience.
