Lime and navy sounds wonderful. I hope that you'll post some photos. Maybe we can have a thread that we post to. I would love to see your progress.

I decided that I would do this one this year. I've started a BOM a few years ago (STILL working on it) but I think this one I will be able to keep up with. Plus I'm going to give it to my DH as a gift when it gets finished.

I have the first block now. I'm going to start it either tonight or tomorrow. I'm not sure about the instructions. They look sparse.

I've never worked with Thangles before...
I'm starting it also, so I hope that it's easy.
The quilt shop that is offering it, is not local to me so I went on an adventure and found the store.
It's Chester County Quilting, what a great store, can't wait to go back and spend more time there.
It started in January, so I was able to pick up all 5 months at one time.
They made the blocks bigger 12", so you get 2 blocks a month for $4.
It seems like a great deal you can't beat the price.
I'm new to quilting and trying many different things, so Thangles is on the list of things to do.
Let me know how you make out,
    Veronica
I will! You too. I would love to see your fabrics.

I definitely will post. I am anxious to show off the sashsing fabric. It is wonderful.

I just may need talking through...we shall see. :)

I started series 7 in Sept. with Red and Cream. This month the LQS owner sold us the rest of the months because of increased gas prices. I did not buy the finishing package but opted for a yard of each to make a lap quilt. My blocks are together and I am making the sashing now. I enjoyed working with the Thangles.

New person here. I am 3/4 of the way done with the Thangles Series 7 Buck a Block. I need to start deciding what to use for my star points and frames and borders. (My local quilt shop "let's us decide on our own" but I am not very good at picking things to go with the blocks so far.) Has anyone else done series 7 and if so do you have any pictured examples I can look at? I am using a cream batik with a different brightly colored batik every month. Any help out there?
