My husband and I were married 53 years ago. I was taking a Marriage and Family Relations course my senior year in college. The class planned and did all the work on my wedding from making the flower arrangements, getting the information to the news papers, doing everything for the reception (making the wedding cake, decorated mints, and all the food). I wore my professor's wedding dress. Thanks to that class, we had a lovely formal wedding that the entire college attended.

It will be 61 years next March. I was 17, he was 18 and had a 'hot Model A Ford'!!
We say we have been happily married for 55 years and 5 other ones.......JUST KIDDING!!
It will never be long enough!!!

My DH and I have been married 33 years this past July 1st. I had actually knew him a few years before we really got together. My (naughty at the time brothers) dropped me off at our local fair..when they were suppose to stay with me. We both were alone when I was trying to get my self hooked into the swing. He helped me..he also gave me a huge banana he won..it was a 4 foot tall one. About 3 years later.. we connected at my aunt and uncles wedding anniversary party.. I was only 15..he was 18. He asked me out..I said yes..and then had to figure out how I was going to pull this one off, as I was not allowed to date yet. ha ha ha

So I can say honestly..he was my first and only true love..and still is to this day.. love him more now then the day we married..

30 years on July 18th. It was a blind date, my brother worked with him, first date we doubled with my brother and his girlfriend. Guess I can blame my brother huh (Ha Ha). We really enjoy our time together.
