I try to get as much usage as I can. When DH cuts strips for me, he usually manages to get through the strip. He is heavy handed, while I am not. Changed my blade yesterday afternoon. Kept the other blades as DH may want to use them

Familuar words, I even bought one of the sharpeners but it is hidding from me. I tried to change the blade on a small rotary and ended up cutting a finger. Dang, they are sure sharp even when you think they aren't. Ended up going and buying another rotary as little larger.

Meeee too! I did get a rotary blade sharpener and give the job to DH to handle while he is watching TV. He just sharpened three and I'll know if he did a good job when I cut again.

Is $20.99 a good deal for a 5 blade pack at JoAnn's? After the last 'chopping experience' I bought the pack to have on hand. But I'll still look for a better deal.
