I am devoted to Superior Threads and Aurifil - have hundreds of spools and cones
Much more fabric - but way too much threads

My my thread far outweighs my fabric. I,too use basic colors and sometimes invisible for quilting.

I have been "collecting" threads for a few years...I find that I have a harder time using my GOOD threads than my good fabric..sigh

I'm afraid I have the thread addiction as much as the fabric addiction.

Here's some ideas to use up bits of thread. Baste a quilt with it. Test tension with it. Use it when piecing a multi-colored quilt. Roll it on a little piece of paper, put it in your purse...voila - instant tooth floss! Or, roll into the worlds largest ball of thread. You cat will love that!

I try to keep on that but sometimes I need a certain color then have to find something thats close enough. I did go to Joanns last night and they are having a 50% off of all threads so had to get some. I live over an hour away from Joanns so I did stock up on a few. I was totally out of pink but not anymore.
I couldn't believe I went to Joanns and that was all I bought. Thread. Love all the colors.
