My brother gave me some scraps from an estate sale, all of them old, including jade fabric & cheddar orange, and many wonderful prints from the 30s-40s.

In the bottom of the box were these old quilt blocks, I think I want to make a wall hanging with them for my granddaughters. Any suggestions would be appreciated, should I just stitch them together and put a border or, of space them out.

My husband suggested doing alternating blocks with applique of seasonal things...for all 4 seasons. I'm not sure what I'll do though. They love ponies & ferrets so I'm probably going to draw my own templates (love to draw, so no big deal).

The ponies, I will use a My Little Pony coloring book for designing a pattern.

I hope this yellow fabric is up to this all this, it's old but seems to be in real good condition. I'll get everything ironed and see how it looks.

I would put some type of sashing between them and then a border.

Lucky you. I love Sunbonnet Sues. I would put a sashing around them also.

If I do make a will quilt I will add sash. I did think about framing them too...I'll be sure to show what I come up with.
