Question: I am interested in taking a class with the Quilting University.

Did you download the quilt pattern or were you taught how to create the quilt pattern?

This looks like you have been quilting for years. Nice even stitching. Mine isn't that consistent and I have done several quilts. Each one has his/her own technique and you will learn more each time you try. To rock the needle you have to have "play" in your hoop, that is, not too tight, so you can manipulate the fabric.I learned from Deidre McElroy in a class at a guild workshop. Keep practicing and yo will be doing prize winning work on big quilts. This is great.

Don't know if this helps, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that a quilt does not need to be fitted tightly into the frame the way a piece of embroidery does. When it is looser the article said it is easier to rock the needle.

I think its beautiful your stitches are great and they are sooooo even - I think you are definitely made out to be a handquilter.

VERY nice. If the other side looks as good as this side, I say you are FAR from the worst hand quilter :D

You did a great job at hand quilting. Guess I'm jealous as my stitches are not even close to being the same. So I can only do caveman quilting (stitches don't have to be even).
