    Jacquie that is what I do also. I even seal serving sizes of rice and pasta. And the pkgs of sauces ans gravies and powdered milk. This stuff will last a long time sealed.

    Jacqui, I was just thinking I could pre-measure into Qt size baggies, Homemade Cake/Muffin Mixes. Only add egg, water and oil, Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes. Maybe for the working neighbors Christmas basket...

    Thank you for the link. I have been thinking of buying a vac machine and now I have another excuse. Now to find one on sale with the wide mouth attachment and a coupon for extra off a sale price.
