That is wonderful, Blue. I love the movement and color of the butterflies.

My next project was supposed to be a case to hold my hand sewing stuff, thimble, needles, cotton, etc, out of the fabric you sent with my doll quilt sulabug. :-)

Blue, Fabulous idea, great execution and as for your energy levels.....truly magnificent.

Sorry for the loss of your "quilt inspector"... I am sure this quilt would get many pawprints of approval.

    Blue,
You can always make a case out of the fabric I sent, later if necessary. I am so thrilled to hear that you will be using it. I am still reading my magazines that you sent & love them dearly!! Thank you again!!

That sounds like a good plan!

Would a simple vine appliqued be too much in a black border? Maybe just in the bottom and left corner borders. Or in opposite corners maybe.
I really like the idea of applique in opposite corners. awesome.
Blue, glad to hear that losing wee kitty, sent you in a very positive creative coping mode. A fine tribute. After all, she is playing in the sunshine, with the butterflies now.

WOW! The butterflies were a terrific inspiration! How about a solid black border and then a beautiful multi-color stripe cut on the bias for the border?
Sorry about the quilt inspector.......My condolences!
