Coloring book and crayon bag pattern
I have a pattern for this bag. In fact I have just completed 8 bags in the last week. A lady loaned her bag to me to make one. I measured and made note as I made my first bag. That is how I made my pattern. The crayon pockets on my bag are on the front of the bag in two rows. There are pockets for 20 crayons.
I have my pattern drawn up in an Excel file. How do I get that to you? This is my first time responding to anyone so I don't know what I'm doing.

I just made one; no pattern involved. Purchase a couple of coloring books and a box of crayons. Make the bag 2" bigger all around than the coloring books, and the same for the box of crayons. I chose a big box of crayons. Add a handle about 12-14 inches long, and done. I lined it, too. Really came out cute! My grand neice loves it. She carrys around her "My little ponies" in it.

My grandson loves puzzles and coloring books and crayons and he loves carring a bag. I saw the cutest coloring crayon bag at a craft show yesterday. It had the slots for each individual crayon on the sides. I would love to find a pattern for one of these, does anyone have the pattern or tutorial for this bag? I want to make if big enough for his puzzles to, he's 5 yrs old and does the one on a board. Thanks!

I made this one for my grandson. I don't know how to post a picture for you, but can tell you I used a red quilted fabric for the bag itself, bought the braided sew in handles for durability and then stitched two rows of crayon fabric all round the bag with slot that held a box of 24 crayons. He loved it.

I know you have probably already found one but ...I made a bag like this when my girls were younger and it went together so easy. It changed the way I make bags. . =)

Here's a link to a tutorial for one I made for each of my granddaughters. They were adorable!
