So after the day I had, I called to see if my grandson could spend the night with me and bought a new iron so that problem is solved. Waking up to his precious face made everything all better. Sounds like we all have "those day" and the ones shared made me laugh. The chocolate was a wonderful idea so made some homemade No Bake Cookies that are loaded with cocoa and sugar. Yippee!!! If I'd only stopped and gotten that bottle of wine..........

I got anxious just reading your post. I have had those kind of days. Walk no RUN away from it for an hour or so, things will improve when you come back.

My friend Trish and I were doing the same thing last week. First I had sewn a block on backwards, then she would sew a block on backwards. In the process of ripping the piece out I ripped a little too much and repalced two blocks. A sipmle block took an hour to repair. Trish then had bobbin issues and ruined a needle in the process.
I finally put it all down and made lunch.

Oh my what a day! I would have stopped long before you did. I have learned sometimes it is better to step away from a project, do something else. Then start fresh. I hope you are having a better day today!

I've had those days and sometimes figured it was time to stop, go to something else and come back to it another day. My frustration would just get worse and so would my capabilities. My heart goes out to you, but don't give up. A new day, new energy and you'll make it all come out beautiful.

I hear you! Today I discovered that my sewing machine oil spilled onto my sewing machine instruction manual, new spool of thread, and several other items. What a mess! It was all my fault for not putting my oil back away after I used it. I got to spend a good hour cleaning before I could sew.
