I agree, I still miss Unread Topics.

I have never accessed the board except by going to the actual website, so a lot of the changes are not apparent to me.

It does seem there are fewer new topics on here, and fewer comments being posted. Not as much change from, say, the morning to the evening, as there used to be.

    I walk away often---used to spend hours here....and learned so much. I was comfortable, excited, interested...now it's a chore..and I miss unread topics. Guess I'm just an old F - - - that doesn't like change

I like to think of all this change , like a pair of favorite shoes. When they are new, you have to break them in , get use to them , then they fit perfect , feel wonderful ,everything is awesome. Then one day the shoes are old and breaking down you know that soon they will have to be replaced UGH ..... so you give in and get the new shoes - now you have to start all over again breaking them in and getting use to them , but just as before soon they will be comfortable and you will be loving them

I came on board just after this new format started; had found this site about a couple of months before that but just was a "lurker." I'm finding my way around pretty good and just want to send a "cheerful" encouragment to you. All of you people have taught me SO much and I'm inspired regularly by what I see others do. Change in life is something we have no control over; being flexible and willing to change does take work. I hope after the busy holidays you'll have a better experience with it. Without this site, I doubt I would ever have learned or attempted a quilt. After the holidays, I CANNOT wait to start my 2nd quilt. Hope things work out for you!

Sadly I've about reached this point, too. I've tried very hard to be patient til I could find my way around but it's become so tedious I just give up. That's sad for me since this board has been very important to me. Now I spend more time at my sew. machine so it isn't all bad. LOL.

Like everything else, it takes a little time to get used to. Change is sometimes hard.

I still come here on a regular basis but it just doesn't 'feel' the same somehow! I have become more of a 'lurker' than a 'regular' like I was on the old site! I miss the 'banter' between us we used to have!! It all seems a bit 'controlled' and clinical now!! Perhaps it's just me!!!!
