Default Christmas Pillows

My Christmas pillow gifts, so far I have made four sets (using various Christmas fabrics). These are the only ones I had sense enough to take pictures of. I free motioned the red fabric using my version of meandering and just shadow quilted the blue fabric hoping it would make the pinwheel stand out a little more. These two have since been stuffed. I tried to do a neat job of hand sewing the opening, is there a certain way or stitch to hand sew pillows together?

Great pillows! I use the ladder stitch to hand sew my pillows shut. I use one strand of very good thread, either hand quilting thread or upholstery thread. If you google ladder stitch you can probably find a site that has a demo?

    Default finishing pillows

I have just learned a new way to put pillows together. This method has been around, but new to me. The envelope method. Split back, overlap a couple of inches. Then pillow can slip out, and top can be washed. I just googled envelope pillow tops.
