    Spent time on my DQ today. The tedious part is done and now I can start having even more fun! I'm creating as I go and so I'm not entirely sure how it will look when finished. Time flies when your having fun!

    Just realized today that my LQS is closed for the next week. Will be on their doorstep next week eagerly waiting for them to reopen so I can get the fabric for my doll quilt.

    That's always the fun part for me. You never know what the machine has in mind!

    My DQ has applique on it and I'm stitching it down by hand (don't ususally do it that way). I will get the applique finished tonight. I can't wait to see what ideas everybody has this month.

    Just saw this for the first time - I'm too late for this one, but will be waiting with bated breath for the next one ... really would love to get in on the fun. Any hints as to what the theme will be, or will it be wide open?

    I had a nice surprise in the mail today. urgodschild2 sent me a darling California surfing quilt. Love the backing fabric with the pink poodle surfer. Thanks again Barb!
