    Default Pound puppies quilt

I bought a panel of Pound Puppies and decided to make it for Christmas for my GS. Didn't think it would take too long. Ha Ha!! Was going to just send $$, but then, I did that on his birthday. Do you have those projects that seem to keep growing? I did learn how to quilt in sections without doing the strip in between the blocks or have a lot of bulk at the seams, so that part was well worth it. But I SWEAR I will never do another quilt with a tight deadline again!

    Thanks for looking.

Sorry, can't find a tree in a frame, so guess I can't show you the picture. The panel was printed in primary colors and I found a border fabric from same line. Put that at top and bottom, made paw print blocks in primary colors for border with dog houses on opposite corners, and fire hydrants at the other corners. Turned out really cute if I do say so myself!! Wish I could show you.

Your grandson is gonna LOVE this!I bought this panel a while back I just couldn't resist cause it was so darn cute. Don't know what I will do with it but had to have it. Wish I had seen the stripe fabric that matches that really sets it off. I also love how you did the corner blocks!

Oh my goodness how cute is that??? I love it - I'm going to have to see if I can find it - I've had basset hounds most of my life and that cutie on the bottom left side needs to be in my house somewhere! Super job on this!
