Your quilt is a gift of love, love was put into making it. The recipient will feel that love, not look for anything wrong. I am sorry you fell down the stairs. Hope you are all right

I would take rows 1&2 off, and sew them on the far right side. That way, it would look fine.I think..

Everything would match in the vertical rows.

I just love this post!! I can't see anything "wrong" with the top. You see , I am one that is different: I love asymmetry instead of symmetry. (HMMM, one m or double M?) It's a great plaid setting.

I agree with quilting it "as it" because it really is very attractive. I'm sure it will be cherished by any recipient!

Okay, I'm blind. What is wrong? Looks like two rows of giant 9-patches, a light to dark plaid, or something like that. Whatever your mistake is, it is consistent throughout. Go for it and quilt away. If it is for charity, you'll never see it again, so it can't haunt you the rest of your life like one on your bed might.

I like it the way it is. Quilt it and go.

I assume the problem that bugs you is that all the darks are on one side and all the lights on the other. I would want more of a balance, myself. Because it's not as you intended I would take the rows out and swap them. It's only--what?-- an hour of work to fix it? Charities deserve our best efforts, not our mistakes or lesser standards. Go ahead and fix it and feel good about your donation.

I think it looks nice the way it is. Can't see a problem. Quilt it and pass it on.
