What fun! It looks amazing and the sampler was a great place to explore different quilting motifs.

Beautiful work! I really want to learn how to do free motion quilting but I am not sure where to start. Can you tell me what kind of sewing machine you have?

I would be delighted to tell you that I have 40 sewing machines....many vintage, several computerized, etc. For my money, you cannot beat the FMQ results on a vintage machine. I quilted this entire quilt on an ancient Viking. I love my longarm, but for smaller and more detailed work, I just adore the vintage machines. My Singer 201 and 15-91 are others that I just love for this kind of work. You absolutely DO NOT NEED an expensive machine to do this kind of work!
