    The top is 63"X28" Piece of CDX plywood covered with a layer of warm and natural and duck cloth. The back is covered with a piece of felt.

    Love this idea, may take my mom's old dresser that needs refinishing and do just this! Thank's for posting!

    This gave me an idea, I have a buffet downstairs doing nothing at this time, I think it can be used liked this. Take it and put a top on it to iron, cut etc. and use the drawers for all my rulers, mats etc. What u think, wow, thanks and now it will not be tossed out. My DH will not b happy, we were going to get it gone, lol but it will be a nice addition to my sewing room I am making in the basement and will have enough room for it too. I will sell my folding table and get more material now....oops. Will take pics and post when I do this......thanks, just love all the ideas and all on here....
