I've looked and looked and don't see any faces. If it looks like anything, a bunch of designer Kleenex boxes. I think it is very pretty and Evan will be delighted.

Hugs Deb, I think you will see the faces if I show you the pic of how the original pattern was supposed to be put together. It looks like a smiley face that isn't smiling. LOL.. Here are the first 2 blocks I made according to the original instructions and didn't like at all. So I took them apart and did the random thing instead.

Hi Sharonb, I think you will really be surprised to find out just how many quilters on this board also have fibro. There are a good many of us actually. I truly believe that quilting is one of the few fibro-friendly activities for us. I know it has saved my sanity and my sense of self-worth in allowing me to continue being a contributing member of society in general and my community especially.
A DGS is my Darling Grandson, Evan.
Gentle hugs and big smiles.. if you ever want or need to talk about the fibro, just give me a yell. I will certainly understand!

I just happened to be looking at quilt blocks on a website and found this one. They called it "Brick and Cobblestones". This is the site I was looking at, and I was in the Quilt Blocks Gallery: http://quilting.about.com/od/quiltpa...ones-Quilt.htm

Love it...and I am sure Evan will too. You are not alone in your fogginess....we Lupies are prone to it too. Mind you the "design opportunities" are endless aren't they

Turned out great, even if there was a little boo-boo.
