Thank You. I am ready to put a binding on a small quilt. I am going to copy this tutorial and try it. It looks very neat.

I will soon be doing a binding and I will give this a go. I normally round my corners on my quilts, I like that look better and they hang on the bedd so much nicer. When I do a mitered corner , it seems at least one does not turn out so nice.

Thank you so much for sharing this technique. I really don't enjoy handstitching the corners so this will make for much nicer corners. Thank goodness for people who figure out how to do things in a better way!

Hmmm, some really good stuff here. I will definitely have to try the mitered corner tip. Meanwhile, I have found this video to be helpful - my miters are better but still need to be stitched. But what works for one person might not for the next, so here's my contribution: http://youtu.be/DVuQ0eiRS8U

And I have to say I love Sharon Schamber's methods. They have been a tremendous help to me.

I had a woman teach me this technique when I was just learning - it looks nice - but it was too many steps for me to take in at once - I just couldn't remember what to do - however I did take some of the lesson and used my own technique for mitered binding and I am very happy with my results.
