It took me a long time to find the mistake, but I would have fixed it if it had been my quilt.

    All's well that ends well...

I recently bought an antique top at auction, and some of the blocks are obviously turned the wrong way. I am going to have to fix them-- can't live with it!

The Amish have a tradition that I have adopted. The Amish say that only God is perfect so they deliberately put a mistake in all of their quilts. They have survived all this time, who am I to argue???

I noticed it right away & am so glad you fixed it. It's a really neat quilt that some child will love.

Blessed are those who can laugh at themselves for they shall never cease to be amused. That's my motto anyway.

I am not to bright I looked and looked at that quilt and for the life of me could not see the mistake. Today I looked and it was right there.

But than I pieced a quilt had it quilted and I put the binding on, I took pictures to post on Facebook and this board only to find out that I had put two block on that were wrong. One was maple leaves and the one part was totally wrong. Now why couldn't I have seen it when I was putting the borders on. Proof reading was never one of my strong suits.

It looks great. It would have driven me nuts so I too would have fixed it even though I hate having to do that.
