Try out the recipe on some scrap fabric and see how it works for you. Good Luck!
Does this have a shelf life and need to kept in the refrig or some such thing. I don't sew every day and I like BP as it can just stay on my sewing table. I also buy it a gallon at a time, and its almost time to buy again.

I love it. I agree it is rather expensive, I also pay $8.00 per bottle. I use it very sparingly.

the best press spray bottles do a great fine mist....love best press but have gone over to the vodka press due to price. I use an ounce of vodka to half gallon of distilled water and a drop of essential oil, works great.

I use lots of spray starch and would buy it exclusively if I could afford it. Love, Love, Love it. The smell is so outdoor fresh and certainly helps my gloomy days inside be happy outdoors days when I am quilting or ironing. For me, ironing is a treat, like a good book is to others. Relaxing and the aroma of fresh laundry brings back the smell of fresh sheets on the line from my childhood.

I use it too. I really like it and think its worth the money. When I'm spraying I do remember the price though.

After trying one bottle, I found it was not worth the price! I thought spraying with water would have done the same thing! Regular spray starch or starch alternative does a better job. Also found that it evaporates if left sitting in the spray bottle. Amazing that a little lavender scent can brainwash quilters into paying $8.00 a bottle for water.
