We all have our methods, huh? I love your idea! Great to keep it orderly and well spaced! I like the poster who mentioned cactus - I do cactus and mud puddles (mud puddles for the upside down meandering). With the guide line it'll be so much more relaxing. I'm going to try this soon! Thanks for the tip!

Thanks so much for this Tutorial. I may not be so intimidated now to go for it. I also get stuck in spots. I cross lines also.

Thanks for the tute. This makes it simple enough for me to even attempt it. I've only done sitd. This might be even easier. Wow!

You have changed my world. I just FMQ's a lap quilt - a smallish one - in a bit over an hour. I divided into quadrants, drew snakes in each quadrant, and off I went. Found that I was keeping too close to the snake so expanded a bit. If I ended up with too much quilt under the machine I cut and restarted with the smaller side on the right - as I meandered around the snake it would turn the quilt, of course. It's not perfect, but as a first attempt that's not SITD or cross hatch - I'm THRILLED. Thank you for sharing your brainstorms with the rest of us!

I agree...I love stippling and meandering, but yet to do a feather.
