    I have this pattern printed and ready to go for my DGD's second birthday next month.....will make the handles short enough to prevent any accidents.

    I have made this child's purse several times and find it very easy. It is also easy to change the size if you want. It is on the Sewing Mamas Forum, and it is called Child's Striped Purse. I think this may get you there:

    I also did one out of my daughters old jeans...I used the legs for the straps. I did it off a youtube tutorial. Lined it with a fat quarter.

    I used the Two Hour tulip purse (the small size) to make reversible childs purses. I get alot of complements on these purses and because they are reversible; they get two purses in one! The pattern is sold at most quilt shops.

    i like the 2 hour purse, too.
    I have heard some people complain that it takes longer to make but i can make a several in an afternoon.
