Wow some great blocks coming along!! I just wanted to pop in and say that I finally made it to my PO, and I will be going through the packages I received today or tomorrow. So if you recently mailed to me, have no fear!! I will be sending a PM this weekend to verify that it is here safe and sound.

    Cheers!

Marcialee, your blocks are so cute. I hope I get 1 of each!

I'm going to start on my blocks on Monday. Going to be spending the day tomorrow at my 84yo mom.
Glad so many of you like the embroidery idea. That's what I'll be doing.
I'll post pictures when I get done.
This is going to be a fun swap.

All the blocks shown are fantastic. I love what you've done Marcialee. I have just about as much fun looking at all the pictures as receiving the actual blocks.

I love Embroidery~ And I love all the blocks posted, I am excited about having a nice warm quilt to throw on the sofa for Halloween! Some times here it is actually cold enough to snow on Halloween.

We often get snow on Halloween too Marybeth. Even without the snow it is usually cold and windy. I always have a pot of stew or chili going on the stove with hot drinks so family & friends can warm up a little before continuing through the neighborhood.

Need I say that I love Halloween and always "over" decorate!! But the kids always expect it and also enjoy the full sized candy bars I give out.

I have to agree, where I am in Texas, we get our 1st snow quite often in October! Back in the late 1990's we had like 13" of snow on Halloween... Also want to add I mailed in my squares today. Woo-hoo...now if I could just quit procrastinating on the "kajillion" ufo's I have calling my name...lol
