    I am making acarpenters wheel quilt with 3" square size. I am doing it with Y seams becaause I think it looks better.
    This is a wall hanging I copied from the board.
    I'll be interested to see a Dear Hannah pix

    You are my hero and my inspiration. And you do such beautiful work I cannot believe you've redone blocks. I loved your first Florence nightingale. And A-1..... Now I'm rethinking mine and I'm so far behind I get sidetracked easily. I even signed up for sharonB's siggi block swap and was inspired by someone's idea. They are using the siggi blocks to back their DearJane. http://www.quiltingboard.com/member-...a-t187647.html

    I turned my first college paper in after 30 years. And I'm still asking myself (Whose idea was this? I'd rather be sewing.) My professor is tough but super good and very helpful, so I kept her class. And I didn't want to waste hubby's money. When I told him that he said he I could drop out if I wanted but I couldn't go to a quilt store for a month!!! I could NOT bear THAT thought!

    @SheriR: You are too sweet!

    First paper in 30 years? Wow! I bet that challenged you and pushed you also to "keep moving forward". Good for you!

    If you decide to take DH up on his offer, I'll take one for the team and stay out of the shop for 1 month with you. There's strength in numbers and shared misery. I mean really...we could produce from our stashes for the next 10 years...but don't let him know that. He he

    BTW - early on we discussed doing a sigi swap for this group...to possibly use as a backing. It would be great to have a block on the back of my DJ from everyone that joined us for this journey. I am in if we have enough support for it as we "keep moving forward".

    Happy quilting all!

    I just learned it's bad form to post another link on a thread, so I apologize. I do not know how to remove it. I am just excited to do DJane and I think that siggi is great too... And you ladies are wonderful <3

    In the beginning someone gave a link to a QAUG site that had wonderful pictures and instructions. I printed them out and now my copy is lost. Can someone give me that site link again or at least tell me where that post is. I have looked and looked and looked for it. Thanks.

    I'm assuming that means a signature block. I'm very interested. I would love to have a block with everyone's signature, screen name, geographical location. I know that would mean a lot of blocks for everyone to sign, but I'll never use this quilt without thinking of logging in here for inspiration and on-line friendship.
