There is a new ruler out that does the Hunter's Star, if interested in it.
I saw a Hunter Star quilt in the retreat house we were staying and thought
it was really pretty, come to find out, it was a preprinted piece and the
owner wanted to learn hand quilting and it looks like it was pieced!
We were amazed at the neat work, it fooled us.

Your scrappy hunter's star is gorgeous. My MIL made this pattern in navy and white. It is so nice. I really hope I inherit it!

I am inspired. I have been trying to find a pattern for a quilt for our bed that my DH likes. I just showed him the picture and he said bingo! LOL...he then went on to explain to me how the pattern worked.....

bossross your quilt is so pretty, I found the Fons and Porter Magazine in the book shelf and probably one of the reasons I bought it was to make Hunters Star... I even had it bookmarked with a paper.... enjoy making your next HS quilt!! and thanks for the beutiful picture too..

Hunter Star! This was the first pattern I made as a new quilter. Ignorance is bliss, was tols after the fact that a beginner should start with four patch...oops. It is stunning in 2 colors.
