Oh my!!!! QuilterMomma just sent me a sneak peek of the quilt she is doing for me and it is so gorgeous!!! It won't be long now folks - there is going to be another completed swap.

I was telling her only today did I realize the new bed quilt and pillow shams I picked up for the summer are stark white. The quilt she is doing for me is a 30's print Log Cabin. What a match!

Anyone getting a quilt from her is one very lucky person. Her quilting is magnificent!

Doing the happy dance. Doing the happy dance. Ooooeee, so excited.

I have the bindig on her quilt 50+% completed. Finish that, sew down the hanging sleeve and create a label. Then I'll stand back for a day or two to admire the &^%$ out of it then ship it out to her (after I take a gazillion photos).

Pretty soon you'll hear squealing from both coast lines. <bg>

    best,
    d

    Lindy-2,

Nurse Bonnie reported on 4/27 that she is 90% complete with your quilt. I will PM you her email address so you can contact her directly.

Vicky_K is definitely MIA. She has not responded to my efforts to reach her-- either via PM or email.

Whew, I am relieved, from the sounds of my quilt coming, I may have met the same. I love how it looks. If I had used a solid fabric on back, would see a wholecloth quilt for sure. Have to do that binding and label and ready to mail. Hey maybe this Friday we can mail so we can tap foot by mailboxes.

Decided to add some extra work on Tammoos, so it is going to take me a couple more days to finish that top, but looking good. Excited to see it come together.

Then I get to do one for Annaquilts. Love that star quilt. Now, which one for sure. I have a good idea of which one will work best, now to get on it. That will be Monday for sure. Have to look at it for a couple of days to decide then away I will go. Having so much fun here. Sold my second machine so no more sewing at office, just the hand work. Now that hand is healing, I have to behave not to overdo it yet. Good thing these quilts were cut up already.

    I have completed QuilterMomma's quilt!

We are making plans for mailing to each other for later this week. How exciting is that?

I'm going to put yours into the mail on Tuesday some time, so will be posting a picture for the world - however, if you choose to ignore that post, it'll be okay!!! Do let me know when it arrives. I think the last time we posted something it took about 10 days. Speaking of those quilt tops, they are sandwiched and ready to quilt, but with my surgery, I haven't been able to stand and get that done. I do need to work on them though - with pictures of them, as well to follow. To everyone on the board, have a wonderful Memorial Day and to other veterans out there - thanks.
vanogay, please stay well and I am so happy to have donated the quilt tops, they will look lovely when you are well and able to quilt them.

Can't wait to get my quilt, and I am sorry that mine has taken so long to complete, but it almost there so it will be ready to send soon.
