Today is Thursday. Were you able to get your machine up and running?? I hope so. It is so disappointing to set aside time to work on something then things not work.

I know how you're feeling, my just got out of the shop! It was tough. I'm seriously looking for a good backup! Good luck with getting ours back real soon so you can get busy on more of those gorgeous creations you do!

No word from the fix-it guy yet. :( I'm going to go by tomorrow evening and see where things are with it. If I don't get it back soon, I'll probably go ahead and start using my daughter's machine. I got a lot of stuff to get sewing on!

you're going to feel like you're missing an arm without your machine...hope it doesn't take too long to get it fixed, and glad that it was under warranty. Makes you wish you had a backup one, doesn't it.

Don't you hate it when that happens? and it always seems to happen when you are really into a project and need to keep going.

My daughter had my original Singer (circa 1963) serviced. It makes a beautiful stitch. No bells and whistles but an excellent straight-stitcher. Those little workhorses are amazing.

UPDATE: I GOT MY SEWING MACHINE BACK FROM THE REPAIR SHOP TODAY!

Can ya tell I'm a little excited??? :D The woman who waited on me said that the repair guy had to "recalibrate the computer", whatever that means. But I am back in biz again. :D :D :D
