    Default Door sidelight organizer

I found a sidelight in my son's shed and took it home. After cleaning it up and removing the broken pane, I decided to turn it into a useful piece and now use it to organize sticky notes and keep small bits of paper off my desk. What do you think? Pretty clever, huh?

This first pic is of what I brought home, but cleaned up a bit. The other two are of my finished organizer. I couldn't resist adding the word "quilt" to the solid piece on the bottom. Thanks for looking!

Cool! My husband and I are repurposer's also. Don't you just love the thrill of the find and reusing it. We have done some cool stuff here. Just might put some pics on here sometime. Thanks for sharing, I love it.

That is wonderful. I love the patina. I suppose your son wants it back now.

Sidelights are the fancy little windows on the side of a door. Some of them have windows from the top of the door to the bottom, others (like this one) have three windows on the top and a solid piece of wood on the bottom.
